Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader who can translate strategic ambition into operational excellence, while shaping the culture and driving sustainable growth across the organization. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will work closely with the team to align on strategy, governance and long-term objectives

Typical Responsibilities – Key End Results of Position

️Develop and implement the company’s strategic plan aligned with the vision and objectives approved by the Board.
️Develop and execute a long-term strategy that positions the company as a leader in energy sector
️Cultivate relationships with professionals with leadership experience in the sector to identify opportunities and foster collaboration.
️Identify growth opportunities, explore new markets, and product diversification strategies.
️Represent the company to government agencies, industry bodies, customers, and partners.
️Champion the company’s brand and reputation in the marketplace.
️Monitor industry trends, risks, and regulatory changes to guide business direction.
️Drive revenue growth, profitability, and return on investment.
️Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
️Ensure effective cost management and capital utilization.
️Oversee internal operations across departments
️Lead the development of strategies to build a high-performing, mission-aligned team

The Successful Applicant

️Proven experience in CEO or executive roles, ideally in a fast-scaling company within the energy sectors.
️Minimum 10+ years in executive leadership with full P&L responsibility.
Background in business transformation, market expansion, and preferably trading in energy markets.
️Strong understanding of growth strategies, transactional skills and trading experience.
️Excellent interpersonal skills and communicator with experience in Board engagement and investor relations.
️An ideal candidate preferred to be Zambian or Zimbabwean.
