Logistics Officer

NDKAY Zambia Ltd is a leading supplier of solar energy solutions, providing reliable and affordable solar products to households, institutions, and businesses across Zambia.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Officer to manage the movement, storage, and distribution of solar products, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate inventory records, and efficient coordination with suppliers, warehouses, and transporters.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery of solar products to clients and branches
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including supplier deliveries and customer dispatches
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile physical stock with system records
• Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Prepare delivery notes, waybills, GRNs, and related logistics documentation
• Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules
• Liaise with transporters, clearing agents, and suppliers where applicable
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures
• Report logistics performance, stock movements, and challenges to management
Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
• Experience in solar, FMCG, or technical product distribution is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
