DRAINAGE / CIVIL WORKS SUPERVISOR

An established contractor is looking for an experienced Drainage / Civil Works Supervisor for site-based construction works in North-Western Province, Zambia.

The successful candidate should have practical experience in:
- Construction and rehabilitation of stormwater drains and channels
- Reading drawings and setting out works accurately
- Checking and maintaining levels, falls and gradients
- Using dumpy/automatic/laser levels and basic surveying equipment
- Earthworks, excavation and preparation of channel profiles
- Concrete and general civil works
- Supervising and coordinating small construction teams
- Ensuring neat, straight and high-quality workmanship
- Understanding drainage flow and preventing incorrect falls or ponding
- Working safely around excavators and other construction equipment
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, accurate and particular about finishing and workmanship, with the ability to identify and correct poor work before it progresses.

Experience on mining or large civil construction sites will be an advantage.
